11Steam train, operated on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 July to 29 September 2012. With change of locomotive at Gletsch. Last part to Oberwald is operated by diesel.

12Steam train, operated on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 July to 30 September 2012.

13 Diesel train, operated on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 6. July to 30. September 2012, with seats 2nd class only

14Diesel train, operated on Sundays from 8. July to 30. September 2012, with seats 2nd class only

The (highlighted,) pass crossing train #131, or #160 respectively, is running on every operating day. A limited number of 1st class seats is offered on this train.

Operating information

Seat reservations for all travellers is compulsory; otherwise there is no guarantee of seats available.
Wheel chair transport in certain trains; reservation compulsory. Please inquire at DFB Travel Service.
Group travel: Delivery of the tickets immediately after booking, with the invoice (due within 30 days). Unused tickets will be reimbursed free of charge by our financial services, if they have been returned before the start of the trip at either Realp or Gletsch station.
Given the limited number of seats available, we recommend our passengers to consider using our steam trains departing from Gletsch.
Trains on the steam line do not accept bicycles for reasons of space.
We cannot take any responsibility for damages caused by smoke or soot during your journey by steam train.
